All of the overall and age group awards for The POSTOAK Lodge Challenge are custom made and unique to this event only. The ribbons are also custom printed for the POSTOAK Lodge Challenge. We do not mail the awards, you must pick it up before you leave the race. Please check to see if you have placed in your event, you do not have to wait for an awards ceremony to get your award. Simply go to the Awards table and let Wayne Webster know that you have an award coming. Congratulations on a great achievement. The finishers medallions for the 2017 POSTOAK Lodge Challenge are solid medal 2.5 inch round medallions for the 10k and Quarter. 4 inch round medallions for the 25k and Half Marathon. The Medallion for the 50k and Full Marathon will be a large 6 inch medal. That is SIX inches!!!!! That is an extremely nice hunk of iron!!!! The Friday Triple runners awards will be given to the top three male and female runners in the Quarter Marathon, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. There will be no age group awards for the Friday races. The overall Top Three Male and Female winners of all six races will receive a one of a kind Trophy that they can display and also use to hang their finisher Medallions on, letting everyone know they were a winner at The POSTOAK Lodge Challenge. The first, second, and third place finishers of each ten year age group starting at 0 thru 19, 20 thru 29, 30 thru 39, 40 thru 49, 50 thru 59, 60 thru 69, and 70 up will receive a one of a kind hand cut wooden plaque that can also be used to display your finisher madals. The race will be cut into the base and it will say first, second, or third place on the award. These awards will be in the ten year age groups for the 10k, 25k, 50k, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. We will also have the Hill From Hell awards again this year. This award is cut out in the shape of our famous Hill From Hell and it is large. We will present this award to the top 3 male and female combined times in the Marathon-50k-Marathon Triple and the Half-25k-Half Triple. The Marathon Triple awards will be double sized of course. The last place award for the 50k and Sunday 26.2 will be our largest award, we are calling this very special award the "Most Enduring" award. This will be for the last person, male or female, who finish the 50k and the Marathon within the official time limit. If someone decides to sit down and wait so they can claim the award, they will be disqualified. You must keep moving and making an effort to finish. We will have race officials following each event to make sure all is kept honest and fair.
